V Festival 2010 Ticket Release

V Festival 2010 release dates
Tickets are now available for a limited time for the V Festival 2010 which is taking place from Saturday 21st August to Sunday 22nd August with a face value of £73.50 for a day and £132.50 for weekend camping.
The seminal festival, known for the diversity of its line-ups, continues to provide one of the most exciting 2-day music gigs held in the UK. If you would like to visit one festival with all the bands you’ve ever wanted to see in one place, the V Festival is the place to be.
Taking place against the beautiful backdrop of Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park in Staffordshire, the V Festival is famed for attracting some of the finest bands in the world with over 150,000 people descending on both sites in 2009. Its successful format was concocted by Richard Branson who recognised that festivals were attracting a more mainstream audience who expected better facilities and has been emulated by festival promoters everywhere.
Since the festival’s inception back in 1995 when Jarvis Cocker, front-man of the alternative rock band Pulp, had the idea of playing two gigs on consecutive days in Victoria Park, Warrington and Hylands Park, Chelmsford, some of the world’s finest bands have given their most legendary performances across four different stages. V Festival 2009 delivered once again with musical giants, Oasis, Snow Patrol, The Killers and Jim Morrison, Dizzee Rascal, Fatboy Slim, Keane, Pendulum and The Enemy comprising just a sample of the world-beating bands and artists appearing across the arenas. It may sound hard to beat a line-up like that but organisers have promised that 2010 will be even bigger and better.
Even better, the music takes place in a “fun” environment with other attractions including cinema, fun fairs, stalls, markets and user-friendly toilets complete with loo rolls (!).
