The days of the Brad Pitt stubble are officially dead; for all you guys who want a face as smooth as a baby’s bottom, a new shaver from Philips has revolutionised the concept of grooming and skin care.
The unique Philips Moisturising HS8060 Shaver dispenses a conditioner directly onto the skin as you shave, supplemented with vitamins and chamomile to create a healthy and vibrant look. The Nivea for Men moisturiser has been specially formulated to create a comfortable and irritation free emulsion. It can be pumped into the shaver saving you time whenever you shave and lasts for up to three months. You simply press the shaving conditioner button until the optimum amount has been released.
The shaver is equipped with a unique flex tracker mechanism that tilts three head sections over the contours of the face, thus performing a smooth operation that cuts exceptionally close to the skin. Simultaneously, Glide Rings help to minimize friction as a dual blade system whereby the first blade lifts and the second cuts, giving a close and soothing shave.
The shaver is fully waterproof and can be used in the shower and rinsed under the tap to keep it clean and hygienic, but a small cleaning brush can be used to remove any remaining hair or dust. For a 40 minutes shaving time the shaver has to be charged for just 90 minutes. With a powerful 13,000 rpm linear motor and a quad blade performance, the shave is much faster than with most shavers on the market. A quad-blade performance with sharp 30 degree- edge blades means that the cut is cleaner and, according to users, the Panasonic ES8249 actually gets that little bit closer. The multi-arc foils and flexible pivoting head ensure that the ES8249 is also pretty nifty at negotiating the contours of the face, reaching all those tricky bits around the jaw and chin area.
One of the main features of the Panasonic ES8249 is its unique wet and dry facility. It can be used with water, gel or shaving foam but the dry shave is no less effective. The charging system takes only one hour which gives 45 minutes of use, plenty of time to get that stubble under control. Suitable for worldwide use with 100 to 240v, the long- life stainless steel blades and foil mean that optimum usage is gained.
A handy LCD shaver status indicator also gives out information of minutes used, cleaning details and percentage of charge left. With an automatic cleaning and charging system however, there is very little to worry about.
