Iron Maiden Release Date
Iron Maiden are the subject of a British/Canadian documentary film following them on their first leg of the Somewhere Back in Time World Tour between February and March 2008. The tour consists of a mammoth 50,000 mile trip around the globe covering 23 dates in 5 continents in just 45 days.
FLIGHT 666 was directed by Sam Dunn and Scot McFadyen with the award-winning Banger Productions team (‘Metal; A Headbanger’s Story’ and ‘Global Metal’) The tour took them 50,000 miles round the planet playing 23 concerts on five continents in just 45 days. Featured in the movie is the band’s customised Boeing 757, Ed Force One, piloted by Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson.
This is a great opportunity to experience life on the road with one of the most successful rock bands of all time. The 5.1 soundtrack was mixed by Maiden’s own Kevin Shirley.
FLIGHT 666 will be released on CD, 2-disc DVD and Blu Ray on 25th May.
