‘Seven Pounds’ is a drama film that comes to DVD rental from 25 May 2009. The film stars Will Smith as Ben who is an employee of the IRS.
Ben is depressed and full of remorse about the deaths of seven people that he caused whilst driving and using a mobile phone two years previously. He embarks upon a mission to rectify his past mistake by helping seven ill people that he doesn’t know. He does this by donating some of his body parts.
