InMe New Album Release Date
Herald Moth is the fourth studio album from British alternative/prog rock band, InMe.
In April this year, they sold out their London showcase gig where they performed tracks from the forthcoming album. “Single of the Week” is the first track to be released as a digital download on 31st August and the album will follow in the autumn. The band are set to do an extensive UK tour throughout September and October including two dates as the main support for We Are The Ocean.
Herald Moth will be released in Limited Edition and standard formats and will be the first album to feature new guitarist, Ben Konstantinovic. The album is released on 7th September

The Cribbs Release Date
Described by Q Magazine as the “biggest cult band in the UK”, the Cribs were officially joined by ex-Smiths guitarist, Johnny Marr last year and release their fourth studio album and first album with Johnny, Ignore the Ignorant, this September.
The first single from the album, “Cheat on Me” is available to download and will be physically released on 31st August. The band, described as post-punk, indie rock, tour the UK, Europe and Japan this autumn and winter. Ignore the Ignorant is released through Wichita Records on 7th September.

Jet Shaka Rock Release Date
Australian rock band, Jet, release their third studio album, Shaka Rock, through EMI early autumn. Formed by brothers, Nic and Chris Cester in 2000 they collaborated with school friend Cameron Muncey and later in 2002 were joined by Mark Wilson.
The band have been working on the album since 2008 writing songs in New York and producing the album in Los Angeles. The first official single released from the album was “She’s a Genius” although “K.I.A (Killed in Action” was available on the band’s website as a free download early April 2009.
The album has been eagerly anticipated since their last album release (Shine On) in October 2006. Shaka Rock is released on 7th September.

Boom Borda 2 Wireless Electric Skateboard
Here’s a skateboard with a difference – it’s got a motor. Capable of speeds of up to 30 mph, this big boys’ toy could certainly add a bit of spice to the morning commute.

Mew New Album Release Date
Mew are an alternative rock indie band from Denmark who describe themselves jokingly as “the only indie stadium band” and refer to their music as “pretentious art rock”.
No More Stories is their fifth studio album and will be released through Sony/BMG this August. The title of the album has been shortened from the original – No More Stories/Are Told Today/I’m Sorry/They Washed Away//No More Stories/The World Is Grey/I’m Tired/Let’s Wash Away – which is taken from the lyrics of one of the tracks, “Hawaii Dream.”
The band tour Europe this year with Nine Inch Nails and Jane’s Addiction. No More Stories is released on 24th August.
Jay-Z Release Date
US rapper and hiphop artist, Jay-Z releases his 11th studio album – The Blueprint 3 – this autumn. It’s release completes the Blueprint Trilogy from The Blueprint in 2001 followed by The Blueprint 2: The Gift & the Curse in 2002.
Recorded in Hawaii where Jay-Z says he can work without being disturbed, production for the majority of the album is be Kayne West with 3 other tracks produced by Timbaland and No I.D between them.
Lead single from the album, “Run This Town” features Rihanna on vocals. Other guest singers on the album are Kid Cudi, Nas and Jay-Z’s protege, Mr Hudson.
The Blueprint 3 is released on 14th September.

Athlete New Album Release Date
Athlete release their fourth studio album, Black Swan, this August. The first single release, “Superhuman Touch”, will be out on 17th August.
The band parted company with their record label, Parlaphone a few months ago and have now signed to Fiction Records, home of Snow Patrol, Kate Nash, Ian Brown and Elbow to name but a few.
The new album was produced by Foo Fighters producer, Tom Rothrock and includes the great single, “Superhuman Touch” due for release on 17th August. Black Swan will be available on CD, Deluxe CD (with bonus disc of new tracks) and Vinyl LP and features art taken from a painting by Natasha Kissell.
Black Swan is released on 24th August.

Bones Release Date
American crime drama, Bones, was first aired on US TV in 2005 and is loosely based on the successful author, Kathy Reichs, crime novel series, which in turn is based on Kathy’s own real life as a forensic anthropologist and crime investigator.
The main character, Dr Temperance “Bones” Brennan (Emily Deschanel) works at the Jeffersonian Institute in Washington, DC and is also a best-selling crime novelist. The show’s humour comes from her brilliance and intelligence in her work coupled with her social ineptitude.
Brennan assists FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) when human remains cannot be identified without her skills in forensic anthropology. Booth provides a layman’s interpretation of Brennan and the other scientists jargon-filled theories.
Bones is released on DVD through FoxVideo on 21st September.

Spooks Series 7 Release Date
Spooks returned to our screens last October with an 8 episode run and the shock departure of Adam Carter (Rupert Penry Jones) and the return of Ros Myers (Hermione Norris) and Jo Portman (Miranda Raison). The team are also joined by Lucas North (Richard Armitage ), a British agent who has been held in a Russian prison for the past eight years. Following Adam’s demise, Ros is made the section leader and Lucas replaces her as a Senior Case officer.
The popular crime drama has won a score of awards including two BAFTAS and one Royal Television Society Award for best drama series. Filming began in March for series 8 which will be shown later in the year.
Spooks Series 7 is available through Contender Video on 12th October 2009.

Tickets are now available for what has been billed as “the hottest show in town” as contemporary R&B star Beyoncé girds her loins in preparation for a series of keenly awaited concerts at various venues in the UK and Ireland.
The Texas-born singer, songwriter, actress, model and record producer is famed for her dance, funk and soul music delivered in a voice that has been described by Jon Pareles of the New York Times as “velvety, yet tart, with an insistent flutter and reserves of soul belting.”
Beyoncé first shot to fame as lead singer with the girl band Destiny’s Child but it was wasn’t until she released her solo debut single, Crazy in Love and album Dangerously in Love that she became a household name in many countries across the world almost overnight.
Having sold more than 75 million records in her whole career, her second album B’Day went straight to number one in the Billboard charts and with a total of 37 weeks at number one slots from 2000 to 2009, Beyonce is recognised to be the top female artist of the moment. She was also recognised as Songwriter of the Year in 2001 by the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers Pop Music Awards.
Her new album I Am…Sasha Fierce has been recently released to critical acclaim, featuring gutsy, yet emotional songs that celebrate female empowerment with upbeat themes, including If I Were A Boy and Single Ladies.
Expect her to perform in a show full of raw energy, ranging vocals and tightly choreographed dance, Beyoncé is noted for putting her all in to every single performance, so the only prospect of disappointment would be if tickets sold out before you managed to get one.
