‘Shortkut … The Con is On’ will be released in UK cinemas on 10 July 2009. Shekhar and Chandu are a couple of aspiring con-artists. One is a struggling wannabe actor and director whilst the other is an aspiring junior artiste!
The two meet each other while trying to make it big within the film industry. They are chalk and cheese to one another, Shekhar is good at what he does but Chandu is a buffoon who thinks that he’s better than he actually is. The pair are pitched against one another when Chandu steals a script from Shekhar and hits the big-time. Shekhar is then intent on a mission to get even with Chandu.
‘Shortkut … The Con is On’ sees the pair in plenty of comedy situations throughout this story of deceit and conning, it will be released in the UK on 10 July 2009.
Moon Cinema Release Date
‘Moon’ comes to the UK Cinema’s on the 17 July 2009. This film stars Sam Rockwell, the voice of Kevin Spacey and Matt Berry.
Sam is looking forward to being reunited with his wife and young daughter when his stint at the moon base ‘Sarang’ is nearing its end. Sam is fed up of the isolation having only himself and the well-intentioned ‘Gerty’ the computer as his only company. Things begin to go wrong when Sam starts to suffer from hallucinations and headaches which lead to a near disaster in the lunar rover. As Sam returns to base he finds a clone of himself mysteriously installed. The clone says that he is there to cover the three-year contract that Sam arrived on ‘Sarang’ to fill.

Fired Up! Cinema Release Date
‘Fired Up!’ is a comedy film that is due to be released in the UK on the 10 July 2009. The tagline for the movie is “2 Guys. 300 Girls! You Do the Math”.
Shawn and Nick are the stars of the Ford High School football team. As well as being accomplished football players they also score high marks and get plenty of attention from the ladies. Both boys have been there done that with the current bunch of girls at school! When the boys hear of a cheerleading camp they hatch a cunning plan to join. The guys much prefer the thought of lots of athletic girl attention through the summer than spending it with a load of guys.
‘Fired Up!’ sets to be a feel good comedy that see the guys switch their footballs to be adorned in pom-poms for the summer months. The film is released on 10 July 2009.
Public Enemies Cinema Release Date
‘Public Enemies’ will be released on 3 July 2009. It is directed by Michael Mann and stars the great Johnny Depp along with Christian Bale and Marion Cottillard.
This exciting and action packed movie tells the story of the outlaw bank robber John Dillinger (Depp). This likeable rogue was the thorn in the side of J Edgar Hoover’s FBI. Dillinger ran riot robbing banks and breaking out of jail which made him an infamous legend amongst the American people. Being in the depression the American public blamed the banks for the situation and had great sympathy for Dillinger’s crusade making him somewhat of a hero. With chases and shootouts abound Dillinger evaded the FBI until they changed the game plan later closing in on him and his gang!
‘Public Enemies’ is based on a true story and is a film full of action and entertainment it will be released on 3 July 2009.
Occupation DVD Release Date
‘Occupation’ will be released to DVD on 22 June 2009. This drama series originally shown by the BBC has James Nesbitt in one of the leading roles.
The storyline is set in the war-torn Iraqi city of Basra. This powerful and addictive drama covers the period from the original Iraqi invasion of 2003 to present day. It follows the lives of three soldiers who served in Basra and decided to revisit and follow their own agendas. Danny returns to take a slice of financial gain that is available from the billions of dollars being invested for reconstruction by the Americans. Mike has a love interest to pursue and Hibbs returns because he wants to make a difference to Iraq and the Iraqi people.
‘Occupation’ sees the stories entwined and the friendship of the men put to the test in the tough environment that is full of sectarian violence and corruption. The DVD will be released on the 22nd of June 2009.

Dollhouse DVD Release Date
‘Dollhouse’ will be released to DVD on 14 September 2009. It stars Eliza Dshku, Harry Lennix and Fran Krantz as the main characters.
The ‘actives’ are a group of people who will be anything or do anything that their rich and powerful hirers want them to be or do. Each ‘active’ has had their personality and memory blanked by reprogramming, they are then primed as a new character. The ‘active’ will totally absorb into the role the client has for them regardless of its legality. At the end of each mission the ‘active’ returns to the ‘Dollhouse’ where the last job is scrubbed from their minds and a new one impregnated. Echo an ‘active’ seemingly has no recollections or does she?

‘The Heavy’ is released to the UK Cinemas’ on 3 July 2009. This film directed by Marcus Warren stars Vinnie Jones, Gary Stretch and Christopher Lee.

‘Revolutionary Road’ is a Sam Mendes film that will be released to DVD on 29 June 2009. It stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet in the leading roles.
This film is set in the 1950s American suburbia. Frank and April Wheeler have high hopes for their lives together yet get bogged down in everyday life. They subscribe to the lifestyle that they didn’t want and end up tearing one another apart in the process. Frank can’t stand the job he is in and he feels trapped because he needs to support their lifestyle.
‘Revolutionary Road’ is a disturbing story of a couple on a constant collision course wanting a first rate life instead of the second-rate life that they have. This DVD will be released on 29 June 2009.

‘The International’ will be release to DVD on 6 July 2009. This film stars Clive Owen and Naomi Watts.
Owen plays Interpol agent Louis Salinger along with his co-star Watts who is Manhattan Asst District Attorney Eleanor Whitman. The pair are on a quest to bring down a major banking institution that is involved in money-laundering at the highest level including Russian organised crime. Anybody going up against the bank ends up either dead or simply disappears. Salinger has to operate outside the system of justice if he has a hope of bringing the bank down.

Inglourious Basterds Cinema Release Date
‘Inglourious Basterds’ will be released in the UK Cinemas on the 21st of August 2009. This film is from the great movie director Quentin Tarantino and stars Brad Pitt.
This film is set in France at the time of the Nazi occupation. Brad Pitt plays 1st Lt. Aldo Raine. Raine puts together a gang of eight soldiers who will infiltrate the occupied country dressed as civilians. Their mission is to kill and destroy as many Nazis as possible as well as driving fear through the rest of the Nazis. In Raines words “each and every man under my command owes me 100 scalps and I want my scalps”
