Ross Kemp on Afghanistan Release Date
Released in June, Ross Kemp on Afghanistan is the book version of the heartstopping and revealing documentary, fronted by actor Ross Kemp about British soldiers fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan.
Ross Kemp on Afghanistan, first broadcast on Sky One in January 2008, followed the 2007 deployment of the 1st Battalion (1 R ANGLIAN, “The Vikings”) of the Royal Anglian Regiment. Kemp and his small film crew participate in the Vikings’ initial training in Britain where Kemp learn what it takes to prepare for deployment. They then visit the unit during their six month tour, filming both life at rest and on fighting patrols in Helmand. The series finally covers their return to the UK.
Kemp was deeply moved by what went on within the unit and on returning to the UK reported:
“When I got home I went to the pub for 24 hours and had a good long drink. ”I can honestly say, after Afghanistan, I’ll never take anything in my life for granted again.”

Antony Beevor - D-Day Release Date
Antony Beevor is a British Historian who has published several historical books and novels on World War II and the 20th century.
D-Day is Beevor’s account of that most memorable of days. It is said that even Stalin was awed by D-Day.

James Bond Release Date
With Sebastian Faulks (author of Birdsong and Charlotte Gray) writing as Ian Fleming, Devil May Care is the latest and 36th James Bond novel. Release last year on hard back, the paperback version will be available in shops from 28th May.
