UFC 2009 Release Date
Published by THQ for PS3 and XBox 360, UFC 2009: Undisputed is described by it’s creators as a “realistic mixed martial arts simulator” – rather a dry description for this intensely explosive fighting game.

inFamous Release Date
Only on PS3, inFamous is a new “sandbox style” (non-linear gameplay) game featuring main character, Cole, a regular guy who receives super powers when a package he is assigned to deliver explodes in a massive explosion. The aftermath of the explosion is riots and anarchy and Cole must develop and control his powers to fight back and restore order and get to the real culprits of the explosion to save the city.
The game allows players to choose how they what path they would like to follow. Players taking on more good deeds will receive more helpful and exact powers while those who do bad deeds will have more destructive powers.
inFamous is released through Sony on 29th May.

Sims 3 Release Date
Sims 3 for PC/MAC is released next month. Sims 3 is a step up from versions 1 and 2 in that now all the houses and neighbourhoods are seamless, allowing you to explore and interact without extra loading time. There are also easier to use design tools allowing for unlimited creations of unique characterisation and realistic personalities.
The collector’s box edition of this release will come with a free sports car download, a sticker sheet, and a 2GBPlumbob shaped USB drive. The freedom that The Sims 3 allows will provide you with a never-ending supply of fun, creative adventures and unexpected twists and turns.

Mad Men Release Date
Matthew Weiner’s US TV drama, Mad Men, has received worldwide critical acclaim as well as several awards including 6 Emmys, Golden Globes and BAFTAs.
Set in the 1960′s the drama centres around a fictional advertising agency in New York, called Sterling Cooper and the lives, families and friends of the people who work there, most notably the high level Creative Director, Don Draper (Jon Hamm).
Of particular interest and quality is the authenticity and historical accuracy of the production design, sets and costumes. The story lines are superb and well crafted as well as beautifully acted.
Mad Men: Season 2 is released simultaneously on DVD and Blu Ray on 13th July.

Phoenix Release Date
French alternative pop band, Phoenix release their fourth studio album through V2 records on 25th May. Titled ‘Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix’ the album is a return to the music arena after nearly a 3 year absence. They’ve come back with an amazing new album described as:
“jaw-droppingly good, a veritable masterclass in sophisticated modern pop music… the kind of music that will make you glad to be alive and remind you that maybe the world isn’t such a terrible place after all…Put simply, it’s genius.”

My Family Release Date
My Family has been running consistently since 2000 and so far has notched up to date 98 episodes and currently showing on TV is Season 9 which is released on DVD later this year.
Starring Robert Lindsay and Zoe Wanamaker as middle-class parents, Ben and Susan Harper, the show also features their 3 very different children, Nick, Janey and Michael and centres around the ups and downs of family life with the father as a laid back dentist and the mother as a control freak, trying desperately to maintain order when all about seems to go awry at the slightest hint of trouble.
The comedy was created by US writer, Fred Barron and has a team of script writers working much like the American writing method of US sitcoms. The series has already been commissioned for 2 new series taking it into 2011.

Ashes to Ashes Release Date
Ashes to Ashes, the spin off time-travel police drama to Life on Mars, is back for a second series, currently showing on BBC 1 on Monday nights and released on DVD on 13th July.
Moving on from the 70′s, the programme is now of an 80′s style with set design, clothing and music to match. Ashes to Ashes character DCI Gene Hunt (Philip Glenister – first featured in Life on Mars) is joined by an experienced female detective and trained psychologist from the 21st century, DI Alex Drake (Keeley Hawes), who wakes up in 1981 after being shot in 2008.
The DVD of Series 2 will feature all 8 episodes which finish airing on TV on 8th June. Ashes to Ashes Series 2 is released on 13th July.
