
CSI New York Release Date
New York’s finest team of forensic scientists battle it out in the Big Apple to solve mysterious and hard to prove cases. Currently running in it’s fifth season on TV, UK Channel 5 viewers can now watch it every Saturday night at 10pm.
The show features head scientists and close friends, Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) and Stella Bonasera (Melina Kanakaredes) who lead an indomitable team of forensic experts from a state-of-the-art Manhattan high-rise.
Season 5 begins with the conclusion to last season’s cliffhanger with Mac being taken hostage. Part 1 of the fifth season is released on 29th June with part two and the complete fifth season released in September.

Dave Matthews Band - Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King
Sometimes known as DMB, American alternative rock group, Dave Matthews Band, release their 8th studio album, Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King in June this year.
Coinciding with their US summer tour (DMB’s live shows are legendary) it will be the first album release since the death of the saxophonist, close friend and founding member of DMB, LeRoi Moore. Awarding winning jazz saxophonist, Jeff Coffin has replaced LeRoi and the album has been produced by Rob Cavallo who also worked with Green Day, My Chemical Romance and Alanis Morissette.
It will also be the second full album to be released simultaneously on vinyl.

Scott Matthews Release Date
Scott Matthews is a UK singer/songwriter from Wolverhampton with musical influences ranging from the Beatles, through to Led Zeppelin, Joni Mitchell and Joe Satriani. His voice and style is reminiscent of Jeff Bukley and Tim Blake and in May 2007, he won the Ivor Novello Award for “Best Song Musically and Lyrically” for “Elusive”.
He releases his second album, Elsewhere, this month and has already played tracks from the album on Radio 2 and BBC Radio 6 music. Preceding the album release will be the single “Fractured” available on 18th May as CD, 7″ and digital download. Scott is currently touring the UK and has previously toured with the Foo Fighters on their 2006 acoustic tour.

Magnum Release Date
Birmingham rock group, Magnum, release their 15th studio album this month. Formed way back in 1972, the band have undergone a few personnel and label changes in their 37 year history but original band members, Bob Catley (vocalist) and Tony Clarkin (guitarist/songwriter ) are still there to this day.
Into the Valley of the Moonking will be released ahead of a huge European and UK tour and as in the past, all songs are penned by guitarist Tony Clarkin.
“I wrote and recorded the songs at home, this time I had around sixty numbers in one form or another, then gradually I chose what I thought were the best, worked on them and finally played them to Bob.”
The result is a diverse but well crafted and mature album of strong melodic rock rhythms tempered with Bob’s bluesy vocals.
Into the Valley of the Moonking is released through SPV records in standard and limited edition CD format, LP or download on 15th June.

IQ Release Date
Despite not achieving huge commercial success, neo-prog rockers, IQ have sustained a loyal cult following among fans and continue to produce solid albums in their almost 30 year history. Mike Holmes formed the band in 1982 after the dissolution of his former group, The Lens, and carried on the progressive rock style pioneered by bands such as Genesis, The Enid and Yes.
Frequency is a brand new studio album available in standard CD and limited edition CD/DVD. The DVD includes the live performance at De Boerderij in Zoetermeer, the Netherlands on December 2007. It will be released on 25th May through Insideout Records.

Hockey Release Date
US funky new-wave band Hockey could be compared to the likes of the Strokes and LCD Soundsystem. Signed to Capitol in the US and Virgin in the UK, they caught the media’s attention with the release of their EP, Mind Chaos last year which they recorded themselves ahead of their major record label signing.
Mind Chaos will receive it’s official release as a full studio album in June this year. They are set to tour the UK and Europe this summer and have already made their UK television debut on Later with Jools Holland in April.
Singles from the album include “Too Fake” which was released in April this year and “Learn to Lose” to be released in June.

Enter Shikari Release Date
Enter Shikari’s music is described as “post-hardcore” and “trance rock mentalist” to give you an idea – - guitar rift heavy, euphoric vocals and electronic sounds.
Their debut album Take to the Skies, released in 2007 reached number 4 in the UK album chart and they receive positive support and recognition from the music press. Their second album, Common Dreads, is receiving no less exhaulted reviews by the music press with many calling it a “fusion masterpiece” and having evolved into a more cohesive sound.
