Incubus Release Date
Grammy nominated, alternative rock group, Incubus, release their first compilation albums, Monuments and Melodies, in a 2-Disc format on 15th June. The first disc will feature 13 previously released singles from the albums Make Yourself, Morning View, A Crow Left of the Murder…, and Light Grenades, along with two new Brendan O’Brien-produced tracks, “Black Heart Inertia” and “Midnight Swim”.
The second disc will be a collection of rarities, including B-sides, soundtrack cuts, alternate versions, three previously unreleased songs, and a cover of Prince’s “Let’s Go Crazy”.
The Incubus line-up consists of Brandon Boyd on lead vocals, rhythm guitar & percussion, Mike Einziger on lead guitar, piano and backing vocals, Jose Pasillas II on drums and percussion, Chris Kilmore on decks, keyboards and sampling and Ben Kenney on bass and backing vocals. Brandon, Mike and Jose are three of the original members from when the band formed in 1991.
Incubus are preapring also for their World Tour this summer to include an appearance at the Download Festival in Leicestershire on June 14th.
Monuments and Melodies is released through Sony/BMG on 15th June.

Laura Izibor Release Date
Described as Rolling Stone’s “Artist to Watch” and Vibes “Next Artist”, Laura Izibor is an emerging R&B soul singer from Dublin, following in the traditions of Lauryn Hill and Jill Scott with her warm, piano guided songs.
She won the RTE2fm Song Contest whilst still at school and in 2006 won the Hope for 2006 Award at the Meteor Music Awards. She has also supported Aretha Franklin, John Legend and Estelle on tour and her debut album, Let the Truth Be Told, is hotly tipped as one of this years biggest releases.
She has already received a warm welcome Stateside with her music being featured in TV shows such as Greys Anatomy, Ghost Whisperer, Nanny Diaries and Tough Love and in films such as Seven Pounds starring Will Smith.

Rob Thomas Release Date
Rob Thomas is probably more familiarly known in the UK as the lead singer of Matchbox Twenty. He releases his first solo album titled Cradlesong on the 29th June. Rob described the album as a mixture of sounds and a “bunch of good songs”. He was influenced by South African and South American percussionists, he introduced a more rhythmic and global feel saying:
“We started off with the idea of doing a newer version of (Paul Simon’s) The Rhythm of the Saints, and that kinda carried us a long way through. It gave us a whole new bed to work with, like ‘How do I get my pop sensibility around this and work it into that?’ It was a lot of fun. But you go through different phases when you’re writing; it took a different turn, and I just followed it, too.”
Lead single, “Her Diamonds” reached number 13 in the US Billboard Chart. Cradlesong is released through Warners (Atlantic) on 29th June.

Just Jack Release Date
Just Jack, aka Jack Allsopp, gained fame in 2007 after appearing on Later with Jools Holland and on Channel 4′s Friday Night Project, when he performed “Starz in their Eyes”, his number 2 hit single.
His second album, Overtones, released in the same year as his hit single, also reached number 2 in the album chart and he collaborated with Kylie Minogue on “I Talk Too Much” for the American release of the album.
All Night Cinema is his third studio album and includes the outstanding single, “Embers” which was released in March this year. Just Jack is described as “garage/pop/dance” with a great lyric-heavy singer songwriter feel.
All Night Cinema is released through Mercury records on 8th June.

Rancid Release Date
American punk rock band, Rancid, release their 7th studio album this June, Let the Dominoes Fall. Released on their Hellcat record label, it will be the first album with newly recruited drummer, Branded Steineckert. Produced by Epitaph Records founder and Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz, the album is described by lead vocalist, Tim Armstrong as “my favourite Rancid album yet”.
The first single to be released from the album was “Let the Last One Die” which was made available on the bands MySpace page on April 7th. Although the band are touring extensively throughout Canada and the US this summer, no dates have as yet been announced for the UK.
Let the Dominoes Fall is released on 1st June on CD and LP.

Saint Etienne Release Date
British indie dance band, Saint Etienne were the innovators of indie dance in the late 80′s early 90′s. Fronted by Sarah Cracknell she was joined by Bob Stanley and Pete Wiggs as the other main members.
Continental was released originally in Japan only and features previously unreleased material (including their UK hit “He’s on the Phone”, remixes and their cover of the Gary Numan song “Stormtrooper in Drag.”
Many of tracks were recorded during t1996/97 when the band worked on their solo projects.
Saint Etienne are currently going through a back catalogue reissue period and this album is being released in the UK for the first time with an official Heavenly label catalogue number. The deluxe edition feature 4 previously unreleased bonus tracks.
Continental (Deluxe Edition) is released on 18th May.
