Coming soon is the ‘Hewlett Packard HDX X16 – 1275EA Laptop’ it will be released on 15 May 2009. This is a high-powered premium laptop that has a Core 2 Duo chip running at 2.13GHz.
There is plenty of RAM memory as the laptop has 3GB available for speedy call up of information. The hard drive has a large 320 GB of storage space, which is ample for today’s large file sizes. The display is a large 16 inches with BrightView. A high-end multimedia experience is focused on with this laptop, delivered by having Blu-ray capability as well as Altec Lansing® speakers and Dolby Home Theatre.

Ben's Brother Release Date
Ben’s Brother release their second album, Battling Giants, on 11th May. The London five-piece, head by Jamie Hartman are named after Jamie’s big brother Ben, as a friendly dig at Ben’s higher status in the family over Jamie.
Their debut album, Beta Male Fairytales, was released on August 6, 2007 and received great critical acclaim. One of the tracks, “Let Me Out” was nominated in 2008 for an Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically & Lyrically.
Battling Giants has received excellent reviews and the fabulous first single “Apologise” was co-written by Natalie Imbruglia.
Battling Giants is released on CD on 11th May.

In Case of Fire Release Date
Northern Irish alternative rock band, Case of Fire, release their debut full album, “Align the Planets” on 11th May through Search & Destroy Records.
The band have been touring extensively since they formed in 2005, supporting artists such as label mates, Fightstar, Queens of the Stoneage and Bullet for My Valentine. They also opened for the 2009 Kerrang! tour and have played as support at the Royal Albert Hall this March.
“Align the Planets” has received positive reviews in the music press and featured are the two singles, “This Time We Stand” and “The Cleansing” which was released in March and reached #10 in the UK indie chart.
“Align the Planets” is released on 11th May on CD.

Stargate Atlantis Release Dates
Spin off series from Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis (or SGA as it’s often abbreviated) has just completed it’s 5th and final season after 100 episodes since it’s first airing on TV in 2004.
The American/Canadian SciFi series was developed by producers Brad Wright and Robert C. Cooper and followed the adventures of an expedition to the lost city of Atlantis in the Pegasus Galaxy. The expedition through the Stargate brought humanity into contact with new civilisations and lifeforms, some benevolent, some not so including the Wraith, the Genii, and later the Asurans.
Stargate Atlantis Season 5: Volume 1 to Volume 5 are due to be released through FoxVideo starting on 11th May with Volume 2 available 25th May, Volume 3 June 8th, Volume 4 June 22nd and Volume 5 July 13th. Blu-ray release date is yet to be announced. A 2-hour film is scheduled for June 2009 in the US, UK date to be confirmed.

Bloc Party Release Date
Originally released in October 2008, Bloc Party’s highly successful third album, Intimacy, is being released as a remix album on 11th May. Contributers include Armand Van Helden, Mogwai, Filthy Dukes, Phones RIP and Phase One.
Armand Van Helden’s remix of ‘Signs’ was released this week as the first single off the album.
Bloc Party have achieve major chart success and critical acclaim with their alternative rock/dance sound. Both music and broadsheet press have given them rave reviews and this new remix album is hotly anticipated to follow the same success of the remix of their last album, A Weekend in the City.
Intimacy Remixed will be released in the UK on CD and LP through Polydor on 11th May.

Eurovision Release Date
A fully packed double disc of all the chosen contenders for this years Eurovision Song Contest, including the UK’s Jade Ewen with It’s My Time, is released this month. This will be the 54th Eurovision and will take place in Moscow at the Indoor Olympic Arena. 42 contestants are set to take part and there will be two semi finals on the 12th and 14th of May followed by the grand final on the 16th May.
Voting procedures will change this year back to the national jury running alongside the usual tele-voting. Slovakia has announced it will return to the contest while San Marino has pulled out due to economic difficulties.
Graham Norton has succeeded Terry Wogan as the UK commentator for the event since Terry stepped down last year after 35 years in the role.
The Eurovision compilation is released through EMI on 11th May.

Go:Audio Release Date
Formerly known as The Vacancy, Go:Audio are a British 4-piece pop rock band based in London. Their music is described as “anthemic pop-punk” but with an electronic edge. Influences from the Killers and Fallout Boy can be felt in their music.
In March last year, they released their debut EP, Woodchuck and on the back of the success of this and their second single, Made Up Stories, they release their first album Made Up Stories in May 2009, a few months later than the scheduled January ’09 release date.
Their latest single, “Drive to the City” was released on CD and digital download on 20th April. Made Up Stories is released through Rubix records on 11th May.

Garmin Zumo 660 Satellite Navigation For Motorbikes
The ‘Garmin Zumo 660 Satellite Navigation for Motorbikes’ is due to be released on 11/5/09. This version of Garmin is a welcome addition for Motorcycle riders in that it has been especially constructed for outdoor all weather use.
The design is described as being rugged and waterproof by the manufacturers. Viewing in all weather conditions including sun should not pose a problem as the display is sunlight-readable. Operating the equipment wearing bike gloves is also catered for on the touch screen display. The mapping includes full coverage of the whole of Europe.
There are 1.2 million entries for places such as fuel stations, hotels, eateries, ATM’s and other places of interest. The ‘Garmin Zumo 660 Satellite Navigation for Motorbikes’ is available on release from 11/5/09.

Boston Legal Release Date
American legal drama, Boston Legal, first hit our screens in 2004 and ran until December 2008. Created by David E Kelley (Chicago Hope, The Practice, Ally McBeal), it follows the personal and professional lives of a team of lawyers working at Crane, Poole and Schmidt.
Aired on American TV network, ABC, it regularly appeared in the top 20 of favourite programmes. The show won 5 Emmys (7 if you include the two for offshoot show, The Practice) and one Golden Globe and was nominated for a score of other awards.
The show featured regular actors, William Shatner, Rhona Mitra and James Spader as well as notable guest appearances from Tom Selleck, Rupert Everett and Heather Locklear and at it’s peak had over 12 million US viewers.

Waterloo Road - Release Date
Set in Rochdale, England, Waterloo Road is the popular BBC TV series centering on the teachers and pupils of a troubled comprehensive school, dealing with issues such as divorce, relationships, suicide and teenage pregnancy.
The series was first aired in 2006 and due to its popularity has now been commissioned for a fifth series. Series 3: Autumn Term begins with headmaster Jack Rimmer (Jason Merrells) listening to the radio about the death by stabbing of his colleague Izzie (Jill Halfpenny).
Eddie Lawson (Neil Morrissey) has now become the deputy head and Rachel (Eva Pope) succeeds Rimmer as School Head. Series 3: Spring Term sees Rachel well established into her new role and it’s exam time for the pupils.
