Antony Beevor - D-Day Release Date
Antony Beevor is a British Historian who has published several historical books and novels on World War II and the 20th century.
D-Day is Beevor’s account of that most memorable of days. It is said that even Stalin was awed by D-Day.
“In the whole history of war,” he wrote to Churchill, “there has never been such an undertaking.”
There have been many different books on D-Day and the battle of Normandy, but this is the first major account of D-Day and the battle for Normandy for over twenty years. Antony Beevor, depicting events in a similar way to his preceding award-winning volumes of Stalingrad and Berlin the Downfall, shows the true experience of war.
D-Day is released in hardback on 28th May.

Sheila O'Flanagan Release Date
Someone Special was released last year in hardback and is soon to be available in paperback, from 28th May.
Dublin born author Sheila O’Flanagan has had an interesting career, starting off in the financial world at the Central Bank of Ireland, she was at one time promoted to Chief Dealer, trading things like foreign currency, bonds and options. When she wrote her first book in her thirties, she was offered a contract with an Irish publisher and gave up her job to become a full-time writer and journalist. She now writes for the Irish Times and is also a competitive badminton player.
Someone Special is her 14th novel based on the relationships, lives and loves of an extended family, one of her favourite subjects. It will be released on paperback on 28th May.

James Bond Release Date
With Sebastian Faulks (author of Birdsong and Charlotte Gray) writing as Ian Fleming, Devil May Care is the latest and 36th James Bond novel. Release last year on hard back, the paperback version will be available in shops from 28th May.
The plot begins with a savage execution in the outskirts of Paris which heralds a chain of events designed to lead to global catastrophe, narcotics, the disappearance of a British Airliner in Iraqi airspace and the threat of war in the Middle East.
James Bond is assigned and meets Dr Gorner in Paris, through the beautiful Scarlett Papava, who wants him to help her rescue her twin sister, Poppy, from Gorner. Bond learns about Gorner’s factory in the Middle East and travels to Persia and meets his contact Darius Alizadeh, before discovering Gorners evil plans for world domination.
Devil May Care is released on 28th May.

Bernard Cornwell Azincourt Release Date
Bernard Cornwell is an English writer famous for his historical novels, most notably his novels about Napoleonic Wars rifleman Richard Sharpe which were adapted into the Sharpe TV series. Azincourt is an epic depiction of the Battle of Agincourt which took place in history on October 25th 1415, St Crispin’s Day.
Agincourt (Azincourt in French) is one of the most famous battles ever fought; the victory of a small, sick and hungry army over an enemy that massively outnumbered it. The book tells the story of that small army; how it embarked from England confident of victory, but was beaten down and horribly weakened by the stubborn French defence of Harfleur.
Azincourt is the tale of Nicholas Hook, an archer, who begins the novel by joining the garrison of Soissons, a city whose patron saints were Crispin and Crispinian. What happened at Soissons shocked all Christendom, but in the following year, on the feast day of Crispin and Crispinian, Hook finds himself in that small army trapped at Azincourt. The novel is the story of the archers who helped win a battle that has become legend.
Azincourt is released in paperback on 11th June.

Tales of Vesperia Release Date
Tales of Vesperia is the 10th title in the Tales series developed by Namco.
The setting is the planet Terca Lumireis. The inhabitants rely on the technology of “blastia”, to provide water, power ships, or to protect cities and towns from monsters. The Imperial Knights and Guild members also use “bodhi blastia” to enhance their abilities in combat.
The people have grown uneasy with the heavy-handed government and a group of rebels led by protagonist, Yuri, band together to prevent an ecological disaster and step into the mysterious and dangerous outside world.

BioShock 2 Release Date
BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams is the sequel to BioShock and players will take on the role of one the first ever Big Daddy to be created in Rapture with the gameplay taking place during the fall of Rapture.
Using all the elements of the BioShock toolset to survive the Big Daddy must capture the Little Sisters back from the other Big Daddies roaming around Rapture and once caught decide their fate. They must also deal with the Big Sisters who are lightning quick and more powerful with the ability to extract “ADAM” from her enemies through a harvesting needle.
