Lewis Series 3 DVD Release Date
The third series of’ Lewis’ will be released on DVD on 13/4/09. Kevin Whately plays the extremely popular ‘Lewis’ along with Laurence Fox as his very reliable aide James Hathaway.
This release has four episodes on four different DVD discs. ‘Lewis’ has gone on to be a worthy replacement for the hit TV series ‘Morse’ in which Whately also played alongside the ever popular John Thaw. The series sees Lewis and Hathaway attempting to solve murders in and around the picturesque Oxford. More often than not we see the University entwined within the very clever and addictive storylines.
‘Lewis Series 3’ is full of the twists, turns and intrigue that make it a thoroughly entertaining murder drama series. The set is due to be released on 13/4/09.

These releases form the first to come from the Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds catalogue, which will be digitally remastered and remixed in 5.1 surround sound. The CD format will compose of a deluxe double-disc edition containing the remastered album, new surround mix, specially commissioned film by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard plus singles b-sides and sleeve notes.
Rumour has it that in addition to the reissues, a deluxe 14-disc collectors box set is in the making, due to be released later in the year. The band have recently announced the first of a string of summer festival appearances including Scotland’s T in the Park on 10th July and Oxegen Festival, Ireland on 11th. Joining them on tour will be guitarist, Ed Kuepper.
